Club Aircraft

 

GCAC currently has six aircraft for members' use. Aircraft are available to members who are appropriately rated and have been signed off by one of the club's certified flight instructors. Aircraft are scheduled using an online, internet-based calendar. Members pay for aircraft use according to the "Hobbs Meter" in each aircraft which records the time the aircraft's engine has operated. All aircraft rates are "wet", meaning that fuel cost is included in the hourly rate but a fuel surcharge for up to four hours of the flight may be imposed from time to time to reflect unusual fuel prices. Members who fuel an aircraft at a location other than Nelson Field are credited for the fuel purchased at a rate equal to the club's cost for fuel
